About NAACAM:
The National Association of Automotive Component & Allied Manufacturers (NAACAM) represents the automotive component industry in South Africa. NAACAM is a leading player in the automotive component manufacturing industry and provides specialized services and solutions to its members and the automotive components sector. Some of the services offered by NAACAM include networking, marketing, government representation, trend monitoring, business development, relationship-building with key decision-makers, education, and industrial relations negotiations within the auto components sector.
About the NAACAM Bursary Program:
NAACAM, in partnership with METAIR, is offering bursaries for the 2025-2026 academic year. These bursaries are available for undergraduate studies in various fields related to engineering, accounting, supply chain, and logistics. The fields covered by the NAACAM bursary include:
- Chemical Engineering
- Cost and Management Accounting
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Process Engineering
- Quality Engineering
- Supply Chain and Logistics
The NAACAM bursary program is supported and funded by the Manufacturing, Engineering, and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA).
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the NAACAM Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Intending to pursue undergraduate studies in one of the specified fields
- Entering the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of study
- Studying or planning to study at a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution
- Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged communities
- Preference will be given to students who are immediate family members of employees of NAACAM manufacturing member companies
How to Apply for the NAACAM Bursary:
Applications must be submitted online through the NAACAM Bursary Application for 2025-2026. When applying, you should mention that you heard about the NAACAM bursary through “Uni24.co.za.”
Shortlisted applicants may be required to submit certain documents, such as ID copies, matric results or certificates (if applicable), and academic transcripts (if currently studying).
Closing Date:
The closing date for the NAACAM Bursary is 30 September. Be sure to submit your application before this date to ensure it is considered.
