Dear Sir/Madam,
I am applying for the Armscor bursary award to assist in funding my studies for the 2022 academic year. I am currently in my second year, studying towards a BEng Industrial Engineering degree at the University of Pretoria. I am a hardworking student, having achieved an aggregate of 75% in my most recent exams and have never failed a module. I am also actively involved in my community, tutoring Mathematics to high school students in my spare time.
My parents have paid my tuition fees for the first year, but unfortunately, due to my father losing his job, they are unable to continue to afford my study fees. If I do not secure funding, I will not be able to continue with my studies.
If accepted into your bursary program, I will use the skills and knowledge I have acquired to excel in my education and continue helping my community. Thank you very much for considering my application for the bursary. I appreciate any opportunity that helps me achieve my academic and career goals.
