Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) was established in 1946 as a distributor of Toyota vehicles within Southern Africa. The company sells a wide range of commercial and passenger Toyota motor vehicles, including bakkies, sedans, hatches, vans, SUVs, MPVs, and coupes, along with accessories, parts, and services for their vehicles. In 2002, TSAM became a subsidiary company of Toyota Motor Corporation.

More About the Toyota Bursary Program:
The Toyota South Africa Motors bursary fund is aimed at supporting students within their communities by financing their tertiary studies. The program seeks talented recipients who demonstrate commitment and excel academically. Bursary recipients will receive financial support and may have the opportunity to gain workplace experience through vacation work, as well as potential exposure to the company’s flagship graduate program.
Eligibility Requirements for the Toyota Bursary:
Applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria to be eligible for the Toyota bursary:
- South African citizenship
- Completion of Matric
- Full-time enrollment in a qualification within one of the specified fields of study
- Study at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Minimum result of 65% for Mathematics in Matric
- Minimum result of 65% for English in Matric
- Minimum overall average of 65% at the tertiary level
- Combined household income of LESS than R750,000 per annum
- Leadership potential
How to Apply for the TSAM Bursary:
Applications must be submitted online through the Toyota South Africa Motors Bursary Application for 2025-2026. When completing the online application form, be sure to enter “Uni24.co.za” in the field asking how you heard about the TSAM bursary.
