Important Programme Information:

  1. Life Orientation and an achievement level of 1 in a subject are excluded from the Admission Point Score (APS) calculation.
  2. Admission to any programme is based on prior evaluation.

TUT Admission Requirements 2025-2026:

  • Bachelor’s Degrees: Minimum of four subjects at performance level 4.
  • Diplomas: Minimum of four subjects at performance level 3.

Application Deadlines for 2025-2026:

  • General applications: 15 June
  • International applications: 15 June
  • Further program-specific deadlines: 31 July & 30 September

Application Procedure for 2025-2026 Admissions:

  1. Go to the official TUT website: www.tut.ac.za
  2. Ensure you have a valid e-mail address before submitting your online application. Free e-mail providers include Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail.
  3. An application fee of R240 (non-refundable) must be deposited in advance:

    • Reference: Your identity number.

Financial Aid – TUT NSFAS Application 2025-2026:

NSFAS offers financial assistance to students who are academically meritorious but financially challenged, seeking to study at public tertiary institutions.
