Tshwane University of Technology TUT Polokwane Residences
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) provides accommodation for its students, offering a range of housing options to suit different needs. Here’s a comprehensive guide to TUT Accommodation for the academic years 2024-2025:
Applying for TUT Accommodation
For First-Year Students
Indicate your interest in residence accommodation on the official TUT admission application form.
Selection is based on unconditional acceptance for enrolment in a full-time academic qualification at TUT.
If demand exceeds supply, selection is based on the date of unconditional acceptance by the faculty.
For Returning Students
Apply for residence accommodation for the next year before the end of October using the online application process.
Log in to the Student iEnabler account and select “Residence Application” or visit TUT Residence Application.
Selection is based on academic performance (minimum average of 50% or 55% for senior residences), compliance with the maximum residency period, registration for a minimum of two subjects, settlement of outstanding fees, or arrangement with TUT Student Finance.
For Other Students
Apply online at the beginning of the year for which accommodation is required.
Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis after prioritizing returning senior students and first-year students.
Registration for Residences
Conditional admission to residences can be finalized through online residence registration.
Registration requires academic registration and payment of the registration fee or arrangement with Student Finance.
Residence registration can be done using on-campus IT facilities.
