Admission Requirements and Selection Criteria

For Applicants Who Obtained a Senior Certificate Before 2008:

  • You’ll need a Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification with a D symbol at Higher Grade for English.
  • Recommended subjects include Hospitality Management, Hotel, and Tourism.
  • Selection criteria involve a points allocation system based on your school subjects and obtained symbols.

For Applicants Who Obtained a National Senior Certificate in or After 2008:

  • A National Senior Certificate with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma endorsement is required, or an equivalent qualification.
  • You should have achieved at least a level 4 for English and level 3 for Mathematics or level 4 for Mathematical Literacy.
  • Recommended subjects include Business Economics, Geography, and Travel and Tourism.
  • Applicants with a final Admission Point Score (APS) of 24 and above will be admitted to the program. Those with a score of 20 to 23 may be invited for a TUT potential assessment.

For Applicants With a National Certificate (Vocational):

  • You’ll need a National Certificate (Vocational) with at least 50% for English and 50% for Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
  • The certificate must be in fields like management, marketing, hospitality, tourism, and more.
  • Applicants must have an APS of at least 27.

  • Presentation: Day classes.
  • Intake: January only.
