Important Notification to New Applicants:
For prospective students planning to enroll in this program from 2017 onwards, it’s crucial to note a significant change in the educational landscape. The Baccalaureus Technologiae program, previously available, will no longer continue beyond 2020. Instead, it is being replaced by qualifications that align with the newly-implemented Higher Education Qualification Sub-Framework. We strongly recommend that potential students stay updated by regularly checking the university’s website for information on these new qualifications, which may not be included in this prospectus.
Admission Requirements and Selection Criteria:
- For Applicants Who Obtained a Senior Certificate Before 2008:
- Admission Requirements: A Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification with an E symbol at Higher Grade or a D symbol at Standard Grade for English, Mathematics, and Physical Science.
- Selection Criteria: Acceptance into the program is contingent on applicants’ performance in the Senior Certificate.
- For Applicants Who Obtained a National Senior Certificate in or After 2008:
- Admission Requirements: A National Senior Certificate with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma endorsement, or an equivalent qualification, with an achievement level of at least 4 for English (home language or first additional language), 4 for Mathematics, and 4 for Physical Sciences.
- Selection Criteria: To be considered for this qualification, applicants must have an Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 21.
- Assessment Procedures: Applicants’ performance in the Senior Certificate will determine whether they will be accepted into the program.
