Admission Requirements and Selection Criteria:

For Applicants Who Obtained a Senior Certificate Before 2008:

  • Admission Requirement: A Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recommended Subjects: Mathematics and commercial subjects.
  • Selection Criteria: A departmental selection and a TUT potential assessment, with symbol values applied.
  • Group 1 Subjects (Weighted Higher): Accounting, Business Economics, Economics, English, Mathematics, and Physical Science.
  • Group 2 Subjects (Weighted Lower): All other subjects.
  • An average of 65% per subject in accredited post-matric qualifications is preferred.
  • The cut-off point is 150, subject to the Head of the Department’s discretion.

For Applicants Who Obtained a National Senior Certificate in or After 2008:

  • Admission Requirement: A National Senior Certificate with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma endorsement, or an equivalent qualification with specific achievement levels in English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
  • Recommended Subjects: Mathematics and commercial subjects.
  • Selection Criteria: An Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 18.

For Applicants with a National Certificate (Vocational):

  • Admission Requirement: A National Certificate (Vocational) with specific subject and percentage requirements in fields related to management, marketing, and more.
  • Selection Criteria: An Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 27.

Minimum Duration:

The National Diploma in Management is designed as a four-year program.

This program is presented through day classes.
