Important Notification for New Applicants
If you’re considering enrolling in this qualification for the first time in 2017 or later, take note of an important change. Starting from 2020, the Baccalaureus Technologiae program will no longer be available. Instead, it will be replaced by qualifications aligned with the newly-implemented Higher Education Qualification Sub-Framework. Make sure to check the university’s website for the latest information on new qualifications that might not be included in this prospectus.
Admission Requirements and Selection Criteria
To embark on this multimedia journey, you’ll need to meet certain admission requirements:
- Successful Completion of the First Year: You should have completed the first year of the National Diploma in Graphic Design as a prerequisite for entry into the National Diploma in Multimedia: Visual Arts-Biased.
The selection criteria may come into play if more than 25 students apply for the qualification, and selection will be based on end-year results obtained in the first year of the Graphic Design Program.
Minimum Duration and Presentation
This exciting program spans three years, with one year spent in the National Diploma in Graphic Design and an additional two years under this qualification. You’ll attend day classes, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your studies.
Intake for the Qualification
New students are admitted in January each year, so be sure to plan your application accordingly.
Exclusion, Readmission, and Recognition of Prior Learning

Examinations and Subject Credits
