Admission Requirements and Selection Criteria:

Admission requirements for the NDOS04 program vary based on your academic background.

For Applicants with a Senior Certificate Before 2008:

If you obtained your Senior Certificate before 2008, you need a Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification. It’s recommended that applicants have a background in Mathematics. Additionally, applicants in this category must undergo a TUT potential assessment.

For Applicants with a National Senior Certificate in or After 2008:

If you completed your National Senior Certificate in or after 2008, you’ll need a National Senior Certificate with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma endorsement, or an equivalent qualification with an achievement level of at least 3 for English (home language or first additional language) and 3 for Mathematics, or 5 for Mathematical Literacy. No specific recommended subjects are mentioned for this category. To be considered for this qualification, applicants must have an Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 20.

For Applicants with a National Certificate (Vocational):

If you hold a National Certificate (Vocational) in fields such as management, marketing, hospitality, tourism, and others, you’ll need to have at least 50% in English (home language or first additional language) and 50% in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy, along with 60% in any other three compulsory vocational subjects and 50% in the fourth subject. The certificate must be in one of the specified fields. To be considered for this qualification, applicants must have an Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 27.
