Important Updates for Prospective Students

If you’re considering enrolling in this program for the first time in 2017 or beyond, it’s essential to be aware of a significant change: starting from 2020, the Baccalaureus Technologiae program will no longer be available. It’s being replaced by qualifications aligned with the newly-implemented Higher Education Qualification Sub-Framework. Admission Requirements and Selection Criteria

For Applicants with a Senior Certificate (Pre-2008)

If you obtained your Senior Certificate before 2008, here are the admission requirements:

  • A Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification with a D symbol at Standard Grade for English.
  • Recommended subjects: Biology and Physiology.
  • Selection criteria: Applicants with a minimum M-score will be considered for admission until the program is full.

For Applicants with a National Senior Certificate (2008 Onwards)

For those with a National Senior Certificate obtained in 2008 or later, the admission requirements are as follows:

  • A National Senior Certificate with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma endorsement, or an equivalent qualification.
  • An achievement level of at least 3 for English (home language or first additional language), 3 for Life Sciences, and 3 for Mathematics or 4 for Mathematical Literacy.
  • Recommended subject: Life Sciences.
  • Selection criteria: To be considered for this qualification, applicants must have an Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 19 (with Mathematics) or 20 (with Mathematical Literacy).

Course Duration and Presentation

The NDSX05 program spans three years and is presented through day classes, allowing you to dive deep into the world of sports and exercise technology.
