UKZN Walk-In Application Process for 2024-2025 Academic Year
Opportunity for Grade 12 Graduates: Following the release of Grade 12 results, UKZN opens its doors for prospective students. If you are considering applying to UKZN or wish to modify your current application, this is an opportune moment.
Walk-In Application Details:
- Date of Commencement: Walk-in applications and change of mind requests begin from 11 January 2022.
- Campus Locations for Walk-Ins: Howard College, Pietermaritzburg, and Westville campuses.
- Limited Opportunity: This facility is available for a restricted period and exclusively on campus.
- Eligibility for New Applications/Change of Minds:
- Applications are subject to availability of space in desired programmes.
- All entrance requirements must be met by the applicants.
- Required Documents: Applicants must provide copies of their ID and official Grade 12 result sheet.
Important Considerations:
- High Demand: UKZN receives a significantly higher number of applications than available spaces. Thus, meeting only the minimum requirements may not suffice for consideration. Admission is not guaranteed.
- Programme Specifics:
- Education and Health Science programmes are not accepting late applications as they have already closed.
- International applications closed on 30 September; hence, no new international applications will be accepted in January.
- Application Restrictions:
- No new applications or changes of mind will be processed through the Central Applications Office (CAO) in January.
- Post-Application:
- After submitting a new application or a change of mind request, you can check the status of your application online from the comfort of your home.
