The university is opening its doors for late applications from 25th January until 29th January. This is your chance to seize the opportunity and embark on an educational journey that could shape your future.

Late applications are specifically available for certain faculties, departments, and programs, so let’s take a closer look:

1. Faculty of Applied and Computer Sciences

All programs in this faculty are open for late applications, except for the Bachelor of Health Science. Whether you have a passion for computer science or any other applied field, this is your moment.

2. Faculty of Engineering

Are you intrigued by the world of engineering? Well, you’re in luck! Late applications are open for all departments and programs within the Faculty of Engineering.

3. Human Sciences

If you have an artistic flair and a love for visual arts, the Department of Visual Arts has your back. Late applications are available for all programs within this department, including Fine Art, Graphic Design, Fashion, and Photography.

4. Management Sciences

For those interested in the financial realm, late applications are open for all programs within the Accountancy Department. This includes Financial Information Systems, Cost and Management Accounting, and Internal Auditing.

Engineering Applicants:

Late applications for engineering programs are primarily for the main stream programs. However, if you fall slightly short of the minimum admission requirements, don’t worry. You’ll automatically be evaluated for admission into the extended programs.

Electrical Engineering Applicants:

Electrical Engineering enthusiasts, pay attention! In addition to the minimum admission requirements, the university will consider applicants for the Diploma in Electrical Engineering who have the required minimum achievement level in Technical Mathematics and Technical Science. Please note that this consideration is exclusive to the Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

All applicants are required to pay an application fee of R100. It’s important to note that there’s a late application fee of R140 for those who miss the standard application deadline.

  • Grade 11 and the latest Grade 12 results. Failure to provide these documents may lead to application delays.
