On the same night, you can win prizes in both draws.

How Does PowerBall Plus Work?
PowerBall Plus operates in the same manner as the primary draw. In the winning line, five major numbers between 1 and 50 and a PowerBall between 1 and 20 are chosen, and you win if your numbers match. Matching all of the numbers drawn wins you the PowerBall Plus jackpot, and there are eight additional prizes available, including R5 just for matching the PowerBall.
