According to Central Energy Fund CEF month-end data for September 29, 2022, the petrol price could fall by R1 per litre next week when prices are adjusted on Wednesday (5 October). Diesel, on the other hand, is showing signs of under-recovery, implying a potential increase of 10 cents per litre.

The current fuel prices are 164.46p for petrol and 186.23p for diesel as of October 17, 2022. While gasoline prices are expected to remain stable, diesel prices are expected to rise.
