When Was Caps First Introduced in South Africa

The National Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) is a single, thorough, and succinct policy document for all the subjects listed in the National Curriculum Statement for Grades R–12. It was introduced by the Department of Basic Education. CAPS provides teachers with comprehensive instructions on what to teach and how to assess.
