In South Africa’s Eastern Cape province, Joubertina is located in the serene Langkloof, which is Afrikaans for “long valley,” between the peaks of the Tsitsikamma and the Kouga Mountains. The exceptionally cold winter months and warm summer months are perfect for the apple producers in this region, which is dominated by peak Formosa (1675m), the highest point in the Tsitsikamma Mountains.
