Getting There
The town of Matatiele is situated on the N6 national road, between Middelburg and Ladysmith. It can be reached from Durban by taking the N3 to Ladysmith, or from Pietermaritzburg by taking the N3 to Middelburg. From Durban, it takes about an hour to get to Matatiele. From Pietermaritzburg, it takes around two hours.
