Cape Peninsula University of Technology CPUT Public Management
Presently, the department has 805 registered undergraduate students, 102 BTech and 33 postgraduate students (MTech and DTech candidates). The figures include full-time and part-time registrations.
The department comprises 12 suitably qualified academics registered as professional members with various professional bodies and with extensive practical experience in the public sector.
The department has undertaken and completed various community and research projects within the public sector, for example, a mentorship programme for the Revenue Department of the City of Cape Town and a research survey to identify and define criteria for the design and location of police stations in urban and rural areas of the Western Cape for the Department of Community Safety, Provincial Government of the Western Cape.
