The Discipline of Occupational Therapy participates in an annual School Research Day which is organized by the School Research Committee and co-hosted by all Disciplines under the School at a school level. On this day a special Academic Guest Speaker is invited to deliver a Key Note Address and our Final Honours Level Students present their Research Projects orally to our Partner audience namely, Medical and Health Science Practitioners, Academics, Parents, Relatives, Students, Public Sector and Private Sector Partners Service and Service Users.
The projects are evaluated by a Panel of Adjudicators from various fields of specialty and the results count towards an Examination Mark. The best projects from each discipline are presented at Local and National Pfizer Research Days. All projects presented on this day are finally utilized to fulfill the Discipline Research Goals.
