Liberty Actuarial Bursaries 2025-2026:
Liberty offers Actuarial Science bursaries to qualified full-time tertiary students who are in their second year of study. The Liberty bursary covers various expenses, including tuition, accommodation, meals, books, and necessary travel allowances. Additionally, it provides academic and emotional support, networking opportunities, and the chance to participate in vacation work at Liberty Life’s Head Office in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, during the June and December holidays.
Upon graduation, bursary recipients are guaranteed employment opportunities.
Bursary Requirements and Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Liberty Actuarial Bursary program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizenship
- Registered full-time tertiary students who intend to continue their studies in Actuarial Science at an ASSA (Actuarial Society of South Africa) accredited South African tertiary institution
- Consistent academic excellence in all subjects, with a minimum average of 60% and a 65% rating in Mathematics and Actuarial modules
- Strong leadership skills and participation in extracurricular activities such as sports, arts, and literature will be advantageous
