The department’s Government Infrastructure Operations are divided into Design and Construction, Properties and Facilities, Expanded Public Works Programme, and Roads Infrastructure.

The Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure bursary program was established to address skills shortages in the department by providing educational financial assistance to disadvantaged yet deserving individuals. The program also aims to enhance economic growth, employment opportunities, social progress, and access to knowledge in the built environment.

- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering

- Quantity Surveying

- Landscaping

- Financial Management

- Information Technology / Management
The bursary covers registration, tuition, meals, accommodation, and book expenses. Bursary recipients are required to work for the department for a period equivalent to the duration of the bursary upon graduation. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the bursary agreement will result in the repayment of all amounts, including interest.

Bursary Requirements And Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Limpopo Department of Public Works, Roads & Infrastructure Bursaries, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen and a resident in Limpopo province.
- Student or intending to pursue studies toward a degree/diploma at a recognized South African tertiary institution.
- Already registered and accepted by the tertiary institution.
- Completion of Grade 12 with supporting documentation.
