Bowmans offers a range of graduate recruitment programmes in various locations to provide aspiring legal professionals with valuable on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to different areas of law. Programmes Overview
Kenya
What We Offer:
- On-the-job training and mentorship
- Experience and exposure to various practice areas of law through quarterly rotations
- Interaction with highly competent professionals including advocates of the High Court and other lawyers across our geographical footprint
What We Look For:
- Aspiring lawyers aiming to complete their training as Kenyan advocates
- Well-rounded individuals with a high level of academic achievement and commercial awareness
- Applicants must have:
- A KCSE Certificate (or equivalent) demonstrating strong academic achievement
- An LLB qualification (upper second class honours and above)
- Admission to the Advocate Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law
- Outgoing, curious, ambitious, and commercially-minded with a passion to succeed as a lawyer in a top African law firm

Application Deadline: March 31.
Selection Process: The selection process, including interviews and written assessments, will commence in May.
South Africa

Virtual Experience Programme
Bowmans also offers a Virtual Experience Programme specializing in Kenyan and South African law. This programme is accessible to aspiring lawyers globally and provides an opportunity to engage in tasks typically assigned to on-site students.

- No prior experience required
- Self-paced online modules
- Insight into corporate law at Bowmans
How to Participate:
- Create a profile and enroll to complete one or more of the five available modules.
- Completing all modules will help you determine if a career in corporate law suits you and identify your preferred area of law.
- Receive a certificate in recognition of your experience to enhance your resume and social media profiles.
