Choose only what you require and a contract that is:
SIM-only
These contracts only include a SIM card and an activated price plan, so you can use the new SIM card in an existing device to take advantage of your new deal’s benefits.
SIM card and device
These contracts include a new device, an active price plan, and a SIM card – everything you need to get started.
All plans come with a one-time 20GB Anytime data bundle that is valid for 30 days.
Handset-only
We have great deals for cash purchases if you want to stay on your current price plan and get a new handset, or if you want to buy a handset for someone else.
Contract length
All contracts are available in a variety of time lengths, giving you the freedom to choose the one that is best for you.
We provide contracts that are as follows:
Monthly for 24 months

Under your current contract, you can add additional lines for friends, family, or business.
How do I become eligible for an MTN contract?
You will need the following items to sign an MTN Contract in-store:
ID.
Evidence of residency (e.g., levy statement or electricity bill)
Income documentation
Three months’ worth of bank statements
How long does it take MTN to approve an online contract?
How long does it take to approve an MTN contract? Once you submit your application, it is reviewed and approved within a few minutes to one week, depending on your credit profile. You will also have to wait between three and ten days for your device to arrive.
How much time does it take to activate an MTN contract?
Once all of the steps have been completed, your Self-RICA application will be reviewed; if all of the information is correct, your SIM card will be validated within 24 hours.
