Cape Gate Isaac Joffe Fellowship Bursary: A Pathway to Excellence
Cape Gate champions education through its Isaac Joffe Fellowship Bursary for the upcoming academic year. This bursary is a stepping stone for students pursuing a B. Ing degree in Metallurgy Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The scope of the bursary encompasses a wide array of expenses, including residence accommodation, tuition fees, registration fees, computer allowance, books, meals, and personal/living expenses.
Selected bursars are not only recipients of financial aid but also participants in paid vacation work during December-January holidays within the company. The bursaries are granted on a yearly basis and, contingent upon satisfactory performance, are renewable for subsequent years. Graduates reciprocate by working with the company for the duration of the received bursary.
Eligibility criteria are crucial; make sure you fit the bill before applying:
- Completion of the Matric examination
- Pursuing a full-time B. Ing degree in Metallurgy Engineering or Mechanical Engineering at a recognized South African University
- Completion of the first year and entering the second year of studies
- Attainment of a minimum “C” grade in first-year results
- Demonstrated financial need and no concurrent financial aid
