Bursary Coverage:

The Cipla bursary covers the following expenses related to the qualification:

Tuition fees
Accommodation
Books
Laptop (maximum of R 8000, with responsibility for repairs, maintenance, insurance, replacement, etc., borne by the student)

Bursary Renewal Criteria:

The Cipla bursary is awarded for one year, and to receive funding for subsequent years, students must meet the following conditions:

Maintain a minimum overall average of 70% every year.
Disclose any other funding or financial aid received.
Provide updates on any changes in subjects, address, contact details, or studying status on a quarterly basis.
Attend continuous development virtual workshops.
Apply for the Cipla Graduate program after graduation.
Participate in vacation work.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Cipla Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

South African citizenship.
Age between 18 and 28 years.
Completion of the first year of study and starting the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or later year of study in 2025-2026.
Successful completion of Matric.
Interest in studying the specified qualifications.
Willingness to study at a recognized and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa.
Achieve a minimum overall average of 70% each year.
Commit to participating in vacation work and applying for the Cipla Graduate skills program after graduation.
High motivation.
Preference given to students from groups defined by BBBEE criteria.
Fluent in English (able to read, write, and speak).
