Program Composition (Subjects):

The program is structured in levels from N1 to N6. Subjects include Electrical Trade Theory, Industrial Electronics, Engineering Science, Mathematics, and Electrotechnics. Choice subjects like Engineering Physics and Fault Finding & Protective Devices are also part of the curriculum.

Admission Requirements:

N1: Grade 10 Certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science
N2: N1 level completion or equivalent
N3: N2 level completion or Technical Grade 12
N4: N3 level completion or Grade 12 Certificate with a pass in Mathematics and Physical Science
N5: N4 level completion
N6: N5 level completion

Duration:

Each level (N1 to N6) has a duration of three months.
The program follows a trimester timetable, allowing students to complete three levels in one year.

Qualifications:

After successfully completing the N6 level and 24 months of relevant in-service training, students can apply for the National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Assessment:

A minimum of 40% per subject is required to pass.
Assessments include regular class tests and practical testing.
National external examinations are conducted at the end of each trimester.
