Digby Wells Bursary 2025-2026
The Digby Wells Environmental Education Trust, established by the company, offers bursaries to provide financial support to students pursuing studies in fields related to the environment. These bursaries are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the following fields for the 2025-2026 academic year:
- Environmental Mining
- Environmental Science
- Social Science
The bursary’s value will be determined on a case-by-case basis, covering tuition fees and textbook expenses. Bursary recipients will also receive a textbook allowance and a laptop. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Digby Wells Bursary 2025-2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed Matriculation (Grade 12)
- Achieved a minimum of 60% in English, Mathematics, and Physical Science in Matric
- Possess a strong academic record and potential
- Be studying or intending to pursue a full-time BSc qualification in one of the specified fields (undergraduate or postgraduate)
- Plan to study at a recognized and accredited South African university
- Have an interest in joining the Environmental and Social Services Industry after completing studies
- Demonstrate motivation and commitment to their studies
Preference may be given to applicants from previously disadvantaged groups.
