Dube TradePort Corporation, established in 2003, is a business entity owned by the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government. The corporation is responsible for managing the Dube TradePort Special Economic Zone, an infrastructure project designed to promote local and international trade.
About the Dube TradePort Bursary Program:
Dube TradePort Corporation is inviting students residing within the KwaZulu-Natal province to apply for bursary funding for the 2025-2026 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded for studies in various fields, including Agriculture (Crops/Plants), Built Environment, Engineering, Information Technology, and Maritime Studies (Land-based).
The selection of bursary recipients will be based on several factors, including academic records, the affordability level of the parent(s) or guardian, the company’s available budget, and other relevant criteria.

- South African citizenship
- Age between 18 and 35 years old
- Residency within the KwaZulu-Natal province
- Completion of Matric (Grade 12)
- Enrollment in a qualification in one of the specified fields
- Enrollment in the second, third, or fourth year of study
- Studying at one of the following institutions: University of KwaZulu Natal, University of Zululand, Durban University of Technology, Mangosuthu University of Technology, or UNISA
- Strong academic record
- Proven financial need
