How does Showmax work with DStv Premium?
DStv subscribers with DStv Premium get Showmax on their DStv Explora (read our guide) as well as on up to five different devices that connect to the internet, from smartphones to PCs to tablets.
DStv premium subscribers get Showmax as a value-added service at no additional cost.
1. Sign into your DStv account at www.dstv.co.za.
2. Select My Products.
3. Choose the DStv Premium package.
4. Click Add Showmax on the Showmax banner.
5. Accept the quotation.
If you downgrade your subscription from DStv Premium to DStv Compact or Compact Plus subscriber, you’ll get Showmax for only R49 per month.
How do I add my Showmax subscription to my Telkom Account in South Africa?
1. Go to showmax.com and sign up.
2. Select your Showmax plan.
3. Select Telkom as your payment method then click on Add to Telkom bill.
4. Enter your mobile number & Accept T&C’s.
5. Confirm subscription with Telkom.
6. Enter your OTP verification.
7. Start enjoying your free trial or confirm your billing with Showmax to start watching.
Which Android devices are supported?
1. Android phones and tablets running Android 7 or higher.
2. Android TV devices running Android 7 or higher, including: Sony, Hisense, JVC, Skyworth, Toshiba, Panasonic, TCL, Haier, etc.
