Groupon recently stated that it will be leaving a number of countries as part of its plan to operate in a “streamlined country footprint.”
“The Company has designated 15 countries as its go-forward country footprint, down from 27 in the portfolio as of the second quarter of 2016,” Groupon stated.
“We are exploring strategic alternatives and other possibilities for exiting the remaining countries, which we anticipate will continue throughout 2017.”
