John Davidson Educational Trust Bursary 2025-2026
The John Davidson Educational Trust is now accepting applications for bursary funding for the 2025-2026 academic year. This bursary is specifically designed for postgraduate students pursuing studies in Engineering and Accounting at the Postgraduate Diploma, Honours, and Masters levels. The selected universities for this programme are the University of Cape Town (UCT), University of Witwatersrand (WITS), University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), and Rhodes University (RU).
Programme Details
Duration: Bursaries are awarded for one academic year.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the bursary:
- Must be pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma, Honours, or Masters qualification in Engineering or Accounting in 2025-2026.
- Must be enrolled at UCT, WITS, UKZN, or RU.
- Must have a strong academic record.
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in their undergraduate degree studies.
- Must demonstrate financial need.

Step 2: Write a motivational letter to the Trustees (guidelines available in the application form).
Step 3: Compile your Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Step 4: Download and complete the John Davidson Educational Trust Bursary Application Form 2025-2026 (.pdf).
Step 5: Gather the following supporting documents:
- Complete university transcript to date.
- Formal fee estimation of your course.
- Motivational letter (details on page 12 of the application form).
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Signed Declaration and Consent (page 13 of the application form).
Step 6: Submit your application form and documents to the Postgraduate Funding Office at your university.
