Jones And Wagener Bursaries
Jones & Wagener is offering a limited number of bursaries to qualified applicants who are pursuing studies in BEng/BSc Civil Engineering, Geology, Geochemistry, and Environmental disciplines at South African universities.
Bursary Benefits:
The bursaries provided by Jones & Wagener will cover the following expenses:
- University tuition fees
- Accommodation (possibly)
- Limited textbook allowance
Additional Requirements:
Applicants will be selected based on their academic performance, financial need, and specific requirements of the company. Bursary recipients may be required to complete six weeks of paid vacation work at Jones & Wagener offices in Rivonia or Centurion. After graduation, bursary holders will be obligated to work for Jones & Wagener for a duration equivalent to the bursary period.

Bursary Requirements And Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Jones & Wagener bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizens
- Completed Matric OR currently in Matric
- Pursuing or planning to pursue a BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geochemistry, or Environmental studies at a recognized South African university
- Minimum of 75% in Mathematics and Physical Science
- Demonstrated financial need
- Preference may be given to students reflecting Black Economic Empowerment
Application Process:
Applications must be submitted online through the Jones & Wagener Bursary Application for 2024. Along with the application form, applicants are required to submit the following supporting documents:
- South African Identity document
- ID number and driver’s license (if applicable)
- Color photograph (to be attached on page 1 of the application form)
- Latest official academic record/report
- Full Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Full tertiary academic record (if currently studying)
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not receive a response regarding your application by September 28, consider your application as unsuccessful.
Closing Date:
The application deadline for the Jones & Wagener Bursaries is July 31.
