About KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission (KZNFC):

The KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission (KZNFC) was established in 2010 through a provincial act. Its primary mission is to transform South Africa into a center for film production and entertainment. The organization envisions creating a competitive, sustainable, and globally recognized film industry in South Africa. KZNFC partners with various entities, including government departments, trade and investment organizations, tourism authorities, and more.

KZNFC Bursary Program:

The KZNFC bursary program was initiated in 2014 to address the shortage of skilled and talented individuals in the South African film industry. It aims to support students interested in pursuing careers within the film industry, particularly in the fields of animation and TV/film studies. Notably, this bursary program does not cover acting qualifications.
