In addition to these programs, the department offers subjects in the discipline of external audit as a service to other qualifications in the fields of accounting and public sector accounting. The department has also partnered with the Internal Audit Education Partner (IAEP), an Internal Audit Foundation School accredited by the Institute of Internal Auditors in the United States​.

Tshwane University of Technology TUT Auditing Student Chapter

The TUT Auditing Student Chapter, affiliated with ISACA & IIA STUDENT GROUP, plays a pivotal role in the academic and professional development of students. The chapter’s mission is to provide a platform for internal auditing students to exchange ideas, interact directly with the Auditing department, and gain exposure to the workforce. Objectives include enhancing students’ academic performance by identifying and mitigating risks that might affect their studies, providing workforce exposure, and facilitating idea sharing among students and the department​​.
