REMARKS

a.Admission requirement(s):

A Magister Technologiae: Organisational Leadership or a qualification at NQF Level 8 (old) or NQF Level 9 (new) in the field of Management Sciences and/or Economics.

b.Selection criteria:

Admission is subject to selection. All the candidates must submit a proposed research proposal to the Business School. The proposal will be evaluated by a panel for admission to the qualification. Registration prior to the approval of a research proposal is provisional and will be made official only if the research proposal is approved by the Faculty Committee for Postgraduate Studies. These procedures will be fully explained to prospective students during their application process.

c.Duration:

A minimum of two years and a maximum of five years.

d.Presentation:

Research.

e.Intake for the qualification:January and July.

f.Structure:

This qualification consists of a research project that has to be recorded in the form of a thesis. Before the thesis is accepted, an article based on the research and approved by the supervisor should have been submitted to a peer-evaluated accredited journal and accepted for publication. A draft version of the article, with acknowledgement of receipt by the journal, should be submitted with the thesis.
