Important Update for New Applicants:

If you’re considering enrolling in this qualification for the first time in 2017 or beyond, there’s a crucial piece of information you need to know. As of 2020, this program will no longer be offered, as it is being replaced by qualifications aligned with the new Higher Education Qualification Sub-Framework. Applicants who meet these minimum requirements will be invited to take an academic proficiency test. Your performance in the Senior Certificate will contribute 80% to your final admission score, while the academic proficiency test will make up the remaining 20%.

For those who completed their National Senior Certificate in or after 2008, the admission requirements are slightly different. You’ll need a National Senior Certificate with a bachelor’s degree or a diploma endorsement, or an equivalent qualification. You should have achieved at least level 4 for English and Mathematics, level 4 for Physical Sciences, and level 3 for Life Sciences. There are no recommended subjects in this case.

To be considered for this qualification, you must have an Admission Point Score (APS) of at least 21. Applicants with a score of 24 and above will be considered for admission, while those with a score of 21 to 23 will be invited to take an academic proficiency test.
