Updated Curriculum Rules:

  • Removal of Modules: HRBUS84 and HRBUS86 have been removed from Group B. Groups D (Financial Management specialization) and F (Marketing Management specialization) are also removed from the curriculum.
  • Module Selection:
    • Compulsory Modules: Students must complete all modules in Group A.
    • Electives: One elective from Group B and two electives from either Group C or Group D must be chosen. Electives should align with the student’s undergraduate area of specialization.
  • Recommended Order: It is advised to complete specialization modules and HMEMS80 before registering for the Research Project module.
  • Module Changes: INT4801 has been replaced with MNG4804. Credits for INT4801 will be retained for students who have already passed it.

Purpose of the Qualification:

The qualification aims to provide advanced knowledge, skills, and applied competence in Business, Commerce, and Management.

Mode of Delivery:

This qualification is presented online only.

Registration Information:

New and Current Unisa Students: Registration depends on receiving and accepting an offer of placement from Unisa.

Re-registering Students: Can register for the 2023 academic year once the registration period opens.

Module Selection and Time Management:

Modules must be selected to meet the required NQF level credits within the specified time for graduation.

Understand co-requisite and pre-requisite requirements.

Limit of 60 credits per semester or 120 credits per academic year, excluding certain exceptions.

Allocate approximately 6-8 hours per week for semester modules and 4-6 hours per week for year modules.
