Wesolve4x, a non-profit organization, is on a mission to transform the educational landscape by offering Mathematics tuition to students during weekends. With a primary focus on math tutoring, Wesolve4x envisions a South Africa where students excel in mathematics. To address both academic and socio-economic challenges, they provide math tutoring to students from grade 4 to grade 12. Recognizing the importance of holistic support, they also provide essential groceries to students’ families and empower students to teach math to their parents at home. Their formula is simple: Maths + Parents – Hunger = Elevated Math Pass Rate.

Wesolve4x is excited to announce the Wesolve4x Actuarial Science Bursary 2024-2025. This opportunity is exclusively for Actuarial Science students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Bursary Benefits: Nurturing Talent and Dreams
The Wesolve4x Actuarial Science Bursary 2024-2025 covers the following aspects:
- Annual registration fees
- Full tuition fees
- Meals
- Accommodation
- Textbook allowance
- Pocket allowance
- Travel allowance
In return for this support, successful bursary recipients will engage in weekend math enrichment sessions for students in grades 4 through 12, playing the role of a “Maths Tutor.”
Eligibility Criteria: Building a Path to Success
Candidates seeking to apply for the Wesolve4x Actuarial Science Bursary 2024-2025 must meet the following criteria at entry level:
For 12th Graders:
- South African citizenship or non-South African citizenship
- Strong mathematics skills and a passion for numbers
- Enrollment in an Actuarial Science degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) in 2024-2025
For Current Actuarial Science Students:
- South African citizenship or non-South African citizenship
- Pursuing an Actuarial Science degree at a tertiary institution (undergraduate or postgraduate)
- A passion for numbers and mathematical concepts
