Spinach needs around 1 to 1 1/2 inches of water per week, depending on the weather or the season.

How can I grow spinach in South Africa?

1. Prepare the land by constructing raised beds and adding fertilizer that is rich in nitrogen, Phosphates and Potassium.

2. Sow the seed at a depth of 20mm and should be evenly spaced from 10 to 20 cm apart in rows that are 30 cm apart.

3. Water the soil after planting and just after germination.
