Burt’s Bees is a popular American skin-care brand. Burt Shavitz and Roxanne Quimby found it in 1991. The company has its headquarters in Durham, North Carolina.
The company started out as a hobby for Shavitz when he made candles out of beeswax at his home in Maine. Later on, Quimby joined hands with him and became an equal partner in the business.
