The purpose of the SAPS Service Complaints Center, which is a part of the Inspectorate Analysis Centre and Service Complaints at the Division Inspectorate, is to assist the community in receiving the best possible service delivery and to lower police complaint rates. The process’s goal is to address and look into any dissatisfaction or disappointment that a person or organization may have had locally, regionally, continentally, or internationally in relation to a decision made or omitted decision made regarding the service that the SAPS, as represented by one or more of its employees, provided or was supposed to provide. 

Direct complaints can be made by going to the community service center (CSC) at your neighborhood police station, the offices of the Station Commander, District/Cluster Commanders, or Provincial Complaints Coordinators: Inspectorate.
