In South Africa, you can pay for your TV license at any of the following:

Your local Post Office

Online, via the SABC website

Via EFT, at any of the major banks

At selected retailers, such as Pick n Pay, Checkers, or Shoprite

Via debit order

A TV license is a legal requirement in South Africa if you want to watch or record television programmes as they’re being broadcast. You can pay your TV license at any post office, as well as online or by direct debit. The cost of a TV license is currently R265 per year. If you don’t have a TV license, you could be fined up to R10 000.
