The option option for making your MTN number private is to dial #31#number. The number is the number that you are calling. An instance would be #31#0838484848.
Does * 67 still work in South Africa?
Yes. Based on our tests in April of 2022, this still works. If you dial *67 then the recipient’s full ten-digit phone number, your call will ring through. The recipient’s caller ID will say ‘Unknown Caller’ or something similar.
