About Tracker South Africa:
Tracker South Africa, established in 1996, is a prominent vehicle tracking company with a network of over 1 million connected vehicles. As the leading Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) company in South Africa, Tracker has expanded its services significantly over the past two decades.
One of Tracker’s notable distinctions is its exclusive formal agreement with the South African Police Service (SAPS), making it the only vehicle tracking company in South Africa to have such an arrangement. Over the years, Tracker has successfully recovered more than 85,000 vehicles, averaging over 500 recoveries per month, leading to the apprehension of over 16,000 criminals.
Tracker’s stolen vehicle recovery technology is utilized in 30 countries worldwide, including Italy, France, Russia, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and the United Kingdom.
About the Tracker Bursary Program:
Tracker offers bursaries within the following fields of study:
- Electronic Engineering (Bachelor of Science)
- Computer Engineering (Bachelor of Science)
- Data Sciences (Bachelor of Science)
The bursary covers the full cost of tuition fees, while all other study-related expenses will be the responsibility of the student.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Tracker Bursary, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- South African citizenship
- Completion of Matric
- Outstanding academic results in Matric
- Attainment of a Maximum Distinction Pass for Mathematics and Science (Higher Grade) in Matric
- Pursuing a degree qualification in one of the specified fields of study
- Enrollment at a university in South Africa

Ensure that you submit clear copies of the following required supporting documents along with your application:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full academic record from tertiary education (certified copy)
- Proof of tertiary registration
- Motivational letter explaining why you should be awarded the bursary and why you are pursuing your chosen field of study
Closing Date:
