About the Bursary Program

Egis Operation South Africa offers bursaries for students pursuing studies in the following fields at the certificate, diploma, or degree level:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Project Management

The bursary covers full tuition fees and includes a book allowance. Bursaries are granted for one year at a time and are renewable based on academic performance. Successful candidates may also have the opportunity to participate in internships and learnerships, with the potential for full-time employment.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • South African citizenship
  • Completion of Matric with English, Mathematics, and Physical Science
  • Enrollment in or acceptance to study toward a certificate, diploma, or degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or Project Management at an accredited South African University or University of Technology
  • First, second, and third-year students are eligible to apply
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Strong academic record
  • Preference given to previously disadvantaged students
