Department of Water & Sanitation Bursary 2024-2025
ABOUT THE BURSARY PROVIDER – DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND SANITATION
The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) has been serving South Africa since 1912 and is responsible for the country’s water resources. The department formulates and implements policies in the water sector to ensure that all South Africans have access to clean water and sanitation services.
The DWS plays a vital role in water resources management to support sustainable economic and social development in the country. To address the scarcity of skills in the water and sanitation field, the department has established a Learning Academy to assist students in completing their tertiary education in this sector.
