Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible for the Absa Fellowship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of one of the following African countries: South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mauritius, Seychelles.
  • Be between 18 and 25 years old.
  • Have completed Matric (or equivalent) with a minimum overall average of 65%.
  • Be entering the first year of undergraduate studies in 2024-2025.
  • Intend to study in one of the specified fields.
  • Have been provisionally accepted or accepted to study at one of the 26 public universities in South Africa.
  • Possess leadership qualities and a commitment to positive change, ethics, and social consciousness.
