The Absa Fellowship Programme is open to learners from selected African countries, including South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mauritius, and Seychelles. It covers undergraduate degree studies in various fields, including:

Expenses Covered and Other Benefits:
The fellowship provides comprehensive coverage for study-related expenses, including full tuition fees, textbooks, educational equipment, a laptop, accommodation (in university residence or private), a meal allowance, a monthly stipend, monthly data allowance, and student medical aid cover. Recipients also receive numerous benefits, such as leadership training, travel (if required), learner modules and guides, online lectures and assessments, emotional wellness check-in sessions, and academic tutoring and mentoring.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the Absa Fellowship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of one of the following African countries: South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Mauritius, Seychelles.
- Be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Have completed Matric (or equivalent) with a minimum overall average of 65%.
- Be entering the first year of undergraduate studies in 2025-2026.
- Intend to study in one of the specified fields.
- Have been provisionally accepted or accepted to study at one of the 26 public universities in South Africa.
- Possess leadership qualities and a commitment to positive change, ethics, and social consciousness.
