Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the FASSET Outstanding Study Debt Assistance Grant, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Have completed the Matric examination and obtained qualifications within the Finance and Accounting sector
  • Have completed a degree course at a higher education institution or through NSFAS
  • Be currently employed but require financial assistance to pay off previous student debts
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are currently engaged with FASSET internship or leadership programs and earn an annual income of less than R60,000
