FirstRand Laurie Dippenaar Scholarship 2025-2026
FirstRand established its foundation in 1998 to uplift and improve the lives of people in need in South Africa. One of the foundation’s programs is the FirstRand Laurie Dippenaar Scholarship. The scholarship aims to provide South African citizens with the opportunity to study a postgraduate degree overseas.
The scholarship is open to South African citizens in any field at an international university of their choice. It has a value of R925,000 per annum. The successful applicant will be required to return to South Africa for at least five years after graduation.
Laurie Dippenaar Scholarship Requirements and Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered for the scholarship:
- Excellent academic performance
- Leadership skills
- Community involvement
- Applicants under 35 years of age will be given preference
- Applicants should already be accepted by an accredited educational institution
